The operator remains the one ‘intangible’ in safe and economic fleet management. Once the cab door is closed all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency and tyre costs have been transferred to the operator.
Cooper SH offers two levels of training / operator supervision:-
Learn to drive your new vehicle Through our nominated partners, we offer a series of training courses dedicated to the nuances and idiosyncrasies of the products we distribute. Not only is it our aim is to teach the basic skills, good practices and safety rules required to operate Materials Handling Equipment supplied by Cooper SH in a competent and efficient manner, we also introduce a skill set that ensures the operator is taught how to extract the most from the machine with intelligent use of the functions available to him/her.
This training will be undertaken through an accredited body with certificates issued appropriately. The courses will be structured dependent upon quantity and entry levels of the individual operators
Get the most out of your new vehicle
In conjunction with the ECO Drive software, Cooper SH can build a picture of driver habits with a view to extracting maximum efficiencies of the vehicle. This could include fuel consumption and tyre wear – the two greatest variables in the cost of operating heavy and port equipment. This is conducted by Cooper SH directly in close consultation with the customer.
